Do you know where your food comes from?
Eat Real, Eat Local, Canada!
This short film explains what's happening to Canada's local food system and why we should all care. Watch the video below to find out more.
Any idea why an American company is discouraging agricultural imports to Canada and who exactly made this video. I'd say its definitely not an economist. If it was, they're probably part of the approx. 7% that support import quotas. So why would 93% of economists disagree with this video? That's what I'm studying this year.
This video has way too many numbers but its obvious why we would mainly import its also obvious why economist disagree with this the fact is if we stop importing we dont take advantage of the cheap way of getting the goods and if its no longer cheap then their not getting stinking rich i mean thats all economist care about making the rich people more wealthy and keeping the pockets of the poor people empty. If we continue the use of money or any other system of servitude we would continue everything we protest against.
Well, for the American Company... it's simply good advertising. There's small print at the bottom of the website, indicating that the site is only meant for Canadian residents. It's understandable that there must be a balance between imports and exports, but I agree with the general message of the video: That we should eat local and support our local economy.
Great post on food and very nice points you have mentioned here i will follow your post in future as its very interesting and useful! Thanks for sharing mate!
